Friday, March 10th - 7:30pm - Tickets are only $10 for this show, cash at the door

After ten minutes, the lights go off on Motion Pacific’s max10 performances. An uncurated series of up-to-ten works-in-progress of any genre, max10 is an opportunity for artists to present and then solicit feedback on their work. After the show, audience members mingle, drink free beer or wine, and have a dialogue with performers. max10 runs three times a year.

Santa Cruz Dance Week strives to strengthen Santa Cruz’s dance culture. Santa Cruz Dance Week seeks to promote cultural and artistic diversity and innovation, encourage artists and organizations to create partnerships and civic collaborations, and, in an effort to bring new audiences to dance, increase visibility for dance artists who engage a diverse community.

The show in 2023 will occur on May 21st at 2pm at the Civic Auditorium. 

Every May, our Spring Recital brings together youth and adult dancers in the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. Little Movers turn as tiny ballerinas and make way for adult hip-hoppers. The Motion Pacific Youth Company amazes with original choreography. Dancers of all ages and levels showcase tap, jazz, contemporary, ballet, and work by the Dance for Parkinson’s program.
