Calling all Black, Brown, and Queer artists and community members! BBQueer Fest is a festival of workshops, performances, dance classes, and seminars for and by the Queer, Trans, and BIPOC communities. During BBQueer Fest, you might attend a heels workshop, a roundtable about race and dance, a contemporary dance production, or a burlesque show. Produced in collaboration with the Tannery World Dance and Cultural Center, this yearly, multiple-day event is free and open to the public. Come as a participant, a performer, a collaborator, an audience member. BBQueer Fest runs during the last weekend of September or the first weekend in October.
